			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve seen a picture of a standered Atlantean on Route 16. It looked strange. I was use to seeing the AN68s on the 16s. I&#39;ve also seen pictures of the
standered Ds on route 20b. I never really associated The standerd Ds with Summerhill. Ignorance on my part i feel. It is Time to see the error of my ways, so

think they were as good(even though I know a lot of people like the PDs as well), it&#39;s frightning how much better they are than just about ever other
modern vehicle bar the Scania Irizar PBs which are in a league of their own(and even more frightning when you consider that the VR is so bad and the VC300 is a

			<description><![CDATA[ In October 93 I got on the P Class on route 39. I distinctly remember there was a step just slightly past halfway. I have been on each of the 40 p class over
the years and none of them had a step, so obviously it had been removed. The step must have been on just one. I had the flu at the time, but I was cheered up
getting on the cityswift. It is amazing the healing powers of a bus. Does anybody know the deal with the step. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ For many years there was a special bus that use to go from Finglas to the North Wall. It&#39;s route started from the old route 40 terminus, Plunkett Road then
it would serve Cardiffsbridge Road, Dunsink Avenue, Glasnevin Avenue, Ballymun Road, down through Phibsboro and all the way down the North Circular Road ending
up at the North Wall. I would always see it at 7:10 in the morning. My father would get it as he worked for cie down the North wall. He would tell me that this

from. Here is a list of the kcs at phibsboro.

			<description><![CDATA[ What was the shortest time ever to completely replace the double deck fleet in a Dublin bus garage? All buses that were in service at one date were withdrawn
and replaced by a mixture of new buses and some moved from other garages. And what&#39;s more the vast bulk of it (85%) happened in only half that time. How
long (or how short) did it take? There were no buses left in service that had been in that garage at the start of the period. And I am not talking about a time

			<description><![CDATA[ I was just reminiscing about the routes C/Road operated when i was a child, which was alot more then nowadays. It must have been second only to donnybrook in
routes. I often wondered how they managed with all these routes because it seemed like a small garage. The routes that C/Road use to operate where 21/a, 23/a,
24, 25/a, 26, 36/a, 37, 51/b/c, 66/a/b, 67/a, 68, 69, 70, 76 78/a, 79, 80 and the hueston station buses. That is a good portion of routes. Todays C/Road routes
are 51/b/c/d/x, 68,... ]]></description>

month which features 83 colour photos of CIE buses taken in August/September 1964. P-class Tigers, U-class Royal Tigers and all classes of former GNR single

untill the end. There was three main ones.
