support of Ironrod Eireann managment, when asked if they felt that privatisation was a good soloution to the inefficencies within the national rail network 92%
of respondants said they thought it was , with only 2% of the public in favour of Ironrod Eireann remaining under state control and the other 6% did not know.

			<description><![CDATA[ With all of the recent carriage withdrawals what locos have been scrapped??

And why cant the withdrawn stock be used to help restart the likes of the Navan line etc instead of going to to the scrappers torch.

I think IE now have the perfect opportunely to reopen links that have been cut in the past with the withdrawn stock. I know it wont be perfect but some people
would be dam glad of a service in the towns like Navan.

			<description><![CDATA[ I was walking over O&#39;Connell Bridge today, and I saw an 8200 Class DART crossing the bridge from Tara St to Connolly. I couldn&#39;t see how many units
there were, but it was at least 2 x 2 car units.

Does anyone know if these are back in service, or indeed which ones these could have been? I hadnt seen any in service since early last year. Can&#39;t say I
really missed them, they were the least favourite DART.

			<description><![CDATA[ Having now travelled on the new intercity railcars for the third time in recent weeks I thought it was time to give my impressions of the type.

From the outside I find them to be very pleasing to the eye, the body shape is streamlined and the livery attractive.

The interior styling is very impressive,  the seats are dark blue with small spots, the ceilings plain white and carpets a grey and blue. Some people will call
this conservative but I really like it, no gaudy... ]]></description>
