I noticed an interesting old news report on Youtube and it reminded me of this incident. I was only young at the time but I remember the accident being a big
news story. Does anybody have any more information/photos on this?

the bus overturned on a run to tallaght as i remember there were a lot of people who came out of a local pub and pretended to be passengers to get a compo
claim .i believe the accident was caused by a passenger{cant say what id like to call them}who grabbed the steering wheel on the driver on a tight turn causing
the bus to turn to sharply which in turn turned her over

I'm glad no one was seriously hurt or killed. I don't remember this happening, but I've heard about it. I remember those old Transit ambulances, so
it must be a good bit back.

From what I can recall it was the 11.30pm last departure on the 50A to Jobstown. The bus was full and a fight broke out. The bus was making the tight turn into
Werburgh Street when a passenger grabbed the wheel causing the bus to topple over. It was a miracle that nobody was killed considering how full the bus was. I
remember there were calls afterwards to make the last buses leave town earlier than 11.30 to prevent drunken behaviour.

I'm sure there are others here who can give a bit more accurate information.

Does anyone know how long KD95 was off the road for?

I remember this well , did'nt this incident contribute to the initial decision to fit all Dublin city buses with cab screens?
