The VWLs appear to have settled down now mainly on the 304/304A routes with the odd single diagram on a 302, 308/308A or 312 run and even rarer forays onto 301 or 309.
VWL180, 183 and 184 have been branded for the 304/304A route 'City Centre - Raheen - City Centre: Every Ten Minutes'. It looks reasonably professional although the letters on the rear of the vehicles look a bit flat.
VWL164 has been operating on the 302 in recent days. It is very rattly and squeaky which is very disappointing for a 7/8 month old bus.
The braking on all of the VWLs seems to be very sensitive: really jerky and sudden.
For my money, they're not a patch on the eight year old Citaros; all remaining 11 of which are in good nick albeit with a fine throaty roar from MC4. Of the DWMs, DWM13 appears to be the least rattly, the least smelly and the smoothest; possibly as a consequence of its long tenure on the well surfaced 308/308A routes.
