Is there now some doubt about whether the WRC will open now,seeing as how things are tightening up?

The WRC will open as planned next year. As you can see from the pictures work is well advanced with track relaying ongoing from the Athenry end.

He was making rumblings about the extension to Tuam/Claremorris.
There is extensive work ongoing on the Ennis/Athenry section and this will open next year. |

Thanks oneonetwo. It was a debate as get the 22000's in Birdhill Station or out the road. I think the right call was made. I do hope to get up the WRC
later in the Summer again.

Luas 3004 failed in Abbey Street today and had to be pushed to the Abbey Street stop by 3014. Pictures below.
Enjoy! http://www.railsceneireland.fotopic.net/c1236392.html When I was getting the train home I think the two sets had moved down to the isolation cage in Abbey Street by VHI, and there was a third set doing the crossover manoeuvre. Strange seeing three sets in a row in Abbey Street.

^The same as before. It is a triangle that is going in (unless the plans have changed). From Busaras the luas will be able to turn left into Connolly or go
straight on. From Connolly it will either turn left into the Docks or right into Busaras. And from the docks, right into Connolly or straight on to Busaras.
