An article I have, written by Michael Corcoran many years ago, would seem to suggest that 65/67 lasted till 1954, and that 62/63, the original pair, lasted until 1956, until after the big Dundalk fire. But buses sitting in a yard unused may technically not be withdrawn, so the description could be vague. However, with the loss of two new double deckers in 1955, I imagine anything that was available was scrambled into use?

If 62/63 did indeed last in use until 1956, well then 1956 was the year the ex-DUTC Titans arrived, so releasing 62/63 for scrapping. Or perhaps 62/63 were never used, and were simply scrapped in 1956 to make room for the newly arrived Titans? Just idle speculation...
