The 53A continues along North Wall Quay to Alexandra Road and does not serve Sheriff Street or Guild Street. Most 53A buses then continue to City Centre as a 53.

Out of curiosity, what additional costs do you perceive in creating a new route over an existing one?

As for the new bus routes to Docklands, I think that the introduction of the 151 is good planning by DB, as it finally provides a high frequency bus service into that entire area, which even without Docklands Station needed it.

I disagree with regard to the location of Docklands Station. It will provide much greater flexibility to IE than any work on the loop line could at a reasonable cost. It is close to the IFSC and when Macken Street bridge opens next year will be much closer to the south east area of the CBD than you might think! However, I agree with Billy, I would have thought that the 93 should have been extended to follow route 92 to Wilton Terrace.
