Stuff like adding the route number to the database, compiling and printing new timetables, new allocations (physical, including allocating buses for the new service, new bus stop signs displaying the new route number, and the like), re-programming DMD displays (and/or updating scrolls, in the case of remaining route numbering scrolls), new driver assignments, new accounting for fare revenue from an additional bus route, stuff like that. Fewer of that were the 53A to be re-routed.
