What happens if and when DB introduce say a variation of the 151, are we going to see the likes of the 151A, 151X ect, ect which could get very messy. I'am not surprised the Irish Ferries service in numbered 53B rather than 53X.....dont take to long to think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............have ye not copped it yet!!!

How about a new idea for route numbering, especially for routes with a long common section, for example using the 42 service, we could have the plain number 42 for the Portmarnock as now with the addition of 42+ for Coast Rd.
Route 7 Loughlinstown Park and 7+ for Cherrywood.
66 Straffan Road, 66+ Kilcock and so on.

Or maybe we could stick with our number-multi alpha suffixes, ah well just a thought.......
