Billy, co-operation is the word. if buses are being delayed either on way to city centre or from city centre, it would be quite possible that some buses are sent special to a certain point en- route, so as to be able to take back up their times, and arrive at their terminus, in time (or very close to it), for their return journey.

Neither stance inspector will keep all the buses for themselves, as everyone knows that "the wheel turns full circle", and they will get it back later.

While taking buses out of service, is not the ideal way to go, it is, in my opinion, slightly better, than having large gaps at one end of the route, with people standing at stops, looking at buses operating frequently, in the opposite direction.

Now, with the iminent promotion of new inspectors, and the rethink of stance inspectors and stance points, it will be, to be seen, if anything changes for the better, or if a central control, brings us, some steps backwards, as without gps, no internal central control, can have a true location of buses under his control, relying only on the driver to give accurate details.

Bring on april / may, and we will have something else to discuss.
