This is an open forum and i am entitled to my opinion. I did not say who how where or when these instances took place and so you have no right to assume to know what i am talking about. A number of members of this board cannot tolerate any critism of DB or its staff. My point was that these instances take place because some people like trouble and then claim to be the injured party. yes there is an issue on aston quay but it is exacebated by the attitude of some DB staff towards these junkies by people who should lead by example and should know better. If a junkie is not causing any issue and attempts to board a bus with a pass or as a paying customer then they should be allowed to do so without the driver calling an inspector and making a big deal out of it. There is no issue other than the fact that the person is a junkie and causing no trouble. By the way these are not my 'views' but are facts based on my observations during my daily commute.

Also to move 78A only would not be fair to its passengers as this bus serves one of the biggest addiction centres in the city at cherry orchard hospital.. Majority of junkies using it and who may be causing trouble are not from the area it serves but other areas of the city. It picks up a lot more junkies along the route as it makes its way. Some of them use 26 but there does not seem to be an issue on the 26. It terminates outside the drug centre. Could it be that this is a more peaceful route as these people can board on westmoreland st with no comment passed? No driver or passenger would be safe on wood quay at night due to its isolation and the fact there is nowhere to go from it. If nothing else aston quay is always busy.
