The only thing I will say about the Airlink, is that it does obtain customers via the CIE information desk at the airport which does a good job, but it's opening hours are restricted, and the proper Tourist information point is always going to recommend Aircoach due to the free transfer with the Dublin Pass. I would say.

What does disappoint me though is the fact certain inspectors and certain staff of Dublin Bus making some certain remarks about Aircoach which are uncalled for. Many times I've seen a certain Dublin Bus inspector asked things like "Where does aircoach depart from" only to be given a unfounded rant against them, along the lines "Don't use the Aircoach, they do x,y,z and you take this risk, and that risk" it's most unprofessional and frankly embarrassing.

If asked a question then why not just answer it and if they don't want to just say they don't know. By all means market your own services, but resorting to such stuff is childish and if I did that in my job quite rightly I'd be in trouble. That goes for everyone, whether it's a private operator, public operator, or whatever, no need to resort to spreading of malicious rumors.

Although saying that, the department for transport is hardly helping things with the above matters, and if we have a London style system with independent inspectors etc I think we would be better off. Not saying they are all bad, but we need to get rid of the bad eggs, who are more interested in politics than the actual customers.
