As a frequent user of the 78a A2000s comments are really making my blood boil here.

I've no problem with people using buses to get to rehabilitation centres, but the simple fact (on the 78a anyway) is that the blatent majority of said people using the buses are engaging in illigal activity while on the bus service. These low lives think nothing of smoking illigal drugs, leaving syringes on the ground of a bus that schoolchildren in the area use and urinating all over the floor, all this while using a free travel pass because they are so good for trying to kick their heroin habit while sneering at gobshites like me who work hard for a living and have to actually pay for the privilage to use such a dire public transport service.

If an inspector on Aston Quay had the guts to be cheeky or stand up to one of these lowlives then I say fair play to him and I would like to shake that gentleman's hand! It's about time that more people stand up to this element of society. Bus drivers should pass the bus stop at Cherry Orchard Hospital if unsavoury characters are waiting there, perhaps the normal passengers at that stop could then go through the complaints procedure as to why the bus isn't stopping, soon enough the problem might actually fall on TDs ears who seem blindfolded and deafened to the whole situation. Maybe our upper decks could be safe to use again!

As for you using cancer patients as a comparison, let me tell you that the reforming drug addicts in Dublin have it a lot easier! As somebody who had to use the chemo department in James's during recent illness, I've met people who have had to pay over €40 on trains to get to the capital every week just to get treatment because there is no beds in their area. Meanwhile while I talk to these brave souls my lungs are filled with second hand hash smoke blown in my face from a "reforming" junkie with a travel pass on my 78a trip to James's!! Tell me how is that fair A2000, why should somebody who got addicted to ILLIGAL drugs have better treatment than a cancer patient? Your comparaion frankly makes me physically sick!

It's time to rid this country of Politically Correctness and tar every single drug user with the same name, a scum bag! Not one single drug user should be entitled to a chance, they should have to bloody well work for it.
