I pay nothing extra to use the Airlink, so for me it has the benefits of an express bus, less crowded than the local services, when going to the airport.

Given that the 5 Day Rambler Smartcard works out at about €4 a day (less than the cost of one single Airlink fare, or a return trip to town on many routes), and that it can be used for 5 non-consecutive days, I make sure i always have one in my coat pocket, and on days when I take the bus I have access to the entire network, including Airlink, for a low fee.

I think DB should be advertising the benefits of these tickets far more than they currently are.
