That pitifull government has already damaged the nation to the point of being beyond repair , once the "soilders of desolation" have been removed (hard to see as the sheepish electorate has kept returning them for nearly 30 years) the nation will rise from the ashes as it has ALWAYS done , but not for the first time we will regret the canabilisation and willfull state vandalisim of the public transport network , clearly the lessons of the past have been ignored yet again.
After hearing Brian Cowens latest comments to the effect of the best thing we can all do at the moment is avoid telling the truth about the state of the nation , I am now truely scared as to how bad things are going to get , it has been suggested to me by reliable sources who cannot be quoted that there will be even less state funding available to CIE in 2010 and further cuts will be nessisary next year.
At a time when the government claims not to have enough money to adaquitly resource the semi-state companies , what does it go and do? , it goes and creates more of them by nationalising banks , but has no interest in saving 5000 tax paying jobs in two companies that could have been bailed out for a fraction of the cost , and in nearly the same breath cuts a further up to 800 tax paying jobs from its own transport company , it is their unwillingness to salvage tax payers jobs that will lead to the economic implosion that is predicted for the middle of this year , the CSO predicted a catastrophic industrial collapse this year before the government shut them up.
