Shilltpo is correct. It is Curkeen Hill between Loughshinney and Skerries, buses facing towards Skerries. On that Friday morning, all three Skerries based buses made their first journeys to city, but two of them ran into trouble trying to get back to Skerries. The third bus did get through, after these two were hemmed in! The buses were still there the following Monday and service on route 33 resumed on the Tuesday. Darren is well aware of this, and has a copy of the photo below of D464. I don't know which D300 is the other bus. I have a front of bus photo too but it is poor quality. The 300s were indeed quite unusual in Skerries by 1982.
