This photo appeared in Cyril McIntyre's "Wheels around Dublin". What I could identify from that book was R5 on the 20; R311 on the 11; R62, I think, on the 12; and the one in front (only partly shown on this Garaiste post, but full bus in the book) is R81 on the 19.

65Donard,
As regards the bus that may or may not have been an AR, the higher number TD5s were indeed originally in Donnybrook, but by 1952 there were no TDs in either Donnybrook or C Road, so it could not be a TD on the 10. Why do you think it is on the 10? Is this the bus that we can't see the destination box on? Both ARs and Queen Marys would have been unusual on cross-city routes, although it is possible that it is an AR on the 10, or a Queen Mary on the 16. When I say possible, I mean from the fleet allocation at the time, I am not expressing a view on what bus it is from identification.

Note that standard R with three windows to the left of the Bolton and the unknown bus. Thought at first this might be an R280, but the destination box does not seem to be high enough. So it is probably either one of the R441 - 490 batch, or the R491 - 540 batch, depending on when the photo was taken; and is most likely on route 7a or 8.
