This was the Ulsterbus equivalent, which I believe entered service in 1990.

I had 518 on the 14 June 2004, with its Goldline livery watered down a bit. It still did the occasional express run at the time and was well able for it.
518 would have made an occasional appearance in Dublin when it was new and the drivers used to hand over in Monaghan.

And I found this one taken a week earlier when I did the 17.10 Derry to Dungiven. It must have been transferred into the depot shortly before that given that its missing a destination blind and you can see my makeshift destination in the window! Needless to say it got a destination blind that evening.

518 and 519 are now with Swilly buses in Buncrana. They have been there for that past 2 months or so. They look very well, 518 especially. I think i noticed another one but i can't remember which one. The only thing i've got a bit of confusion is about this- 518 has the reg. PXI 5517 or maybe 5527, does that mean that its actually Ulsterbus 517 that they have, instead of 518? but it has 518 as its fleet number as Swilly usually carry on the tradition, but 519 is just 519.
