AV 20 would be one of the hardest working and high mileage buses in the fleet. Seven years on the 65's would take its toll and all of the high speed running would have to affect the engine.

In general AV13-21 seem to be a lot more reliable than Ringsends 2001 batch of AV205-211, which I have seen parked plenty of times and always sound terrible. The only one I have seen broken down a few times is AV14, which I get the impression is a bit brittle.

Re: RA199, I travelled on her just after I got off RA298 during the week and I thought she was in good nick overall. Sounded fine and far from on deaths door. Which is more than can be said for 298. That 96 RA batch in Ringo have some of the worst in the fleet. The 95's by comparison are in much better condition. The only one I have on my radar as being a bit clapped is RA232, which has spent alot of its life on the 77's
