Waterford do have buses outbased in Clonmel for route 7 but are on the Dublin side of the route. SC32, SC33 and SC34 are on it. I'm not sure if SC62 is
Waterford based or Cork based but i think its Waterford, but whenever i've been in Cork i've always seen SC62 there with 7 on the destination.
SP49 and SP50 are Broadstone buses on the 7 Dublin to Clonmel all the time (50 ventures all over the place but is usually on the 7, 49 is always on it though)
and i remember seeing SP50 doing the 9am from Carlow to Cork Route 7 in early October i think it was, when i was on the 07.15am Dublin to Waterford. Presumaby
SP50 spent the night in Clonmel the previous night and started out on the 06.45am from Clonmel to Carlow, due in Carlow at 08.40am, where any Dublin bound
passengers change here and get the bus coming from Waterford to Dublin at 07.30am from Waterford to Dublin Route 4, due to leave Carlow at 08.45am.
I think that 9am from Carlow to Cork might be the same bus that does the 15.00 from Cork back to Clonmel (change buses in Clonmel for Dublin, Kilkenny and
Carlow). The last time i spotted that 15.00 from Cork to Clonmel it was SC38 that was on it. I remember years ago seeing VP96 on that Route 7 from Cork to
Dublin at 15.00, but it could've been on any of the times for route 7, but i remember it doing the 15.00 from Cork a few times. I remember seeing MH26 on
it once or twice aswell about 6 or 7 years ago.
VG10 again operated the 1500 to Kilkenny from Cork today and this time I got a picture. Click here.
Also SR21 after a repaint. Looks good.
SR21 looks very nice. Both SR23 and SR24 in Monaghan got repainted a few months ago but neither of them look half as good as the job done to SR21. The dog
on SR24 in particular seemed to say "screw this i'm not going on this bloody busand legged it, cos she's missing the Red Setter on most of her logo's, looks
very white, though 23 is not too bad, but 21 looks great.
I'd love to see those old 01 D reg SC's (SC1-SC27) getting a facelift and a bit of kick, they are badly due a freshen up. I used to love them when they
were new but they are knackered now and look horrible and do actually look very tired and sluggish, and they are.
Regarding the 2001 SCs, it is a shame that these vehicles are not taken out of service, refurbished internally and then repainted. In fairness to Dublin
Bus, in all likelihood, a 2001 AV will be in similar condition to that of a 2008 EV.
Sorry about the copyright through the photo of SR21. If anyone wants a copy of the photo without this mark don't hesitate to drop me a mail.
SR21 was in a minor accident before Christmas so a touch up is probably a better way of putting it.
