You won't find route 53B in any Dublin Bus timetable, and a search on their website says it does not exist.
Indeed, you won't find the North Wall ferry buses listed at all, because even the paltry information that used to be given about buses connecting with ferries is no longer on the Dublin Bus site.
Follow the link to buses serving the Irish Ferries terminal, and it points you to routes 53 and 53A, despite the fact that these routes now terminate more than a km away from the terminal, thanks to the closure of the eastern part of Alexandra Road. And even then, it is only some departures on the 53 that go there.
But the connecting ferry bus still runs, and is now numbered 53B for the convienience of Dublin Bus schedulers (not for the convienience of the public, otherwise you'd be able to find some information on it!).
At the Ferry Terminal you can see a complete listing of all train departures and connections from Holyhead, but nothing about how you get into Dublin!
Even is bus stop is devoid of information, the only thing on the carousel is a notice reminding you to stay out of the way of the bus mirrors when the bus arrives.
Clontarf's AV235 is seen loading up at Dublin Port on this least publicised of all routes.
