Following comments from our membership, and consultation amongst the management team, Garaiste is implementing a new policy on Preservation Postings from Monday December 14th, 2009.
Postings on preservation and preservationists, whether individual, group, or corporate, do not come within the scope that this forum covers. This includes discussions of existing or proposed preservation projects, preserved vehicle runs or rallies etc.
Where such postings are noticed by, or brought to the attention of, the moderators or management team, they will be removed as soon as is reasonably practical. This can in some cases take up to 24 hours, depending on the availibility and physical location of the moderators.
Where it is possible to keep a thread intact while only removing some entries, this may be done, however it will not always be possible.
The following exception is made in the interest of keeping historical records: it is acceptable to note that a vehicle has been sold for preservation when discussing current vehicle disposals in the general sections, or when discussing past vehicles or classes in the history or historic photo sections.
In the interest of keeping the membership updated on forthcoming events which they might like to attend, Garaiste will create a "Rally Calendar" in which we will give details of those events of which we are made aware.
