I see Corgi Trackside now offer the Scammell Townsman in their range. Does anyone know if anyone was in touch with Corgi to see if it might be offered in CIE
black or CIE orange livery?

I have just purchased one of these at a knockdown price and want to repaint it as a CIE lorry. I have the necessary decals for it but does anyone know what
livery they were originally painted in, i'm guessing gloss black but did they have a white and/or orange stripe as well? If I look through enough railway
books I will probably find a photo. The only survivor that I know of is painted in the later orange livery. I would imagine that the earlier Scammell Scarab
(available in CIE green from Corgi) also gained later liverys in its more senior years. Fascinating little lorries, I saw real examples of both types on a
recent trip to a Welsh rally.
