What fleet number is the RM?
What city? Bus stop location? Who is the passenger hailing the approaching bus....? Bonus points if you can figure out what time it is on his watch!!

Even with a pic its a bit tough.
I suspect that it is Nottingham for no other reason than the Renault has a Nottingham plate and a Princess came via Nottingham ! After that I'm lost. |

According to May's "Buses", Bellamy's Coaches has introduced Routemasters on route 20 in Nottingham. So I reckon that is where the photo is
taken. Could be RM1097, which is 201 UXJ, that is the only 2xx UXJ in my records, but it looks more like 209 UXJ, so not sure.

Latest Bus and Coach Preservation has a feature on this operator. RM758 is I think the bus in question.

OK folks, You are nearly right.....
- It's RM 758 - The city is of course Nottingham, where a new full day Mon-Sat Routemaster service is now in operation and carrying decent loads (15 pax on an off peak Monday morning trip when we travelled) - Well done Eastern Nat...the bus uis approaching the Mansfield Road stop - The time was indeed 10:20am - And the passenger hailing the bus is................... Billy 563!!!!! Billy can also be seen examining some excellent bus information in Parliament Street, Nottingham below

According to "Buses" Bellamy has 4 Routemasters, RM758 is the only standard length, the others are RML 2336, 2596 and 2651.
