Spotted this double decker in Stillorgan this morning with Mortons decals on it. Wonder if we will see a return of PEAK time services to Lucan/Celbridge
operated by Mortons?

Circle Line Bus went into liquidation, but Mortons Coaches continues as a separate concern, business as usual.

so i wonder where 20 jobs actually lost, as was claimed in the media or was it just hysteria from Mortons in the blame game in the closure of the circleline
bus service.

I think that any sympathy shown towards Circleline would evaporate if the services returned albeit under the "Morton's" brand. We can continue
this thread if it does make a comeback...

To answer itv, I believe Paul Morton has decided to try to keep on three or four of the drivers. He doesn't have extra work for them, he will probably just
divide up the work he has available in Rathfarnham slightly differently. The rest will go. I knew and worked with these drivers. They were exceptionally decent
and friendly guys, and I am very sorry for them. There are human beings behind all the 'hysteria.'

A new lad recieving route training in the depot today from this area.
Many will move on to different companies in time. I have little interest in the company side of things, but workers need work and wages. Were all the same, bread and butter to earn, families to feed and wifes to keep in Brown thomas etc etc etc. |
