On my way to Dorset St on a 122 yesterday at 530pm, the bus was waiting to do the turn onto SCR, when I couldnt believe my eyes, parked on the Barn was a
lovely old Duple bodied Bedford O.B!!!
It was parked on ihe strange really wide island that runs up the side of Boles Chemist on the Barn and had wording on her side as PRIDE OF THE DALES, and the little bus is painted in a 2 tone chocolate and coffee brown, it also wears a ZV reg plate. Only for the fact I was under pressure to be in Fagans by 630, I would have got off the 122 to have a propper look. Does anyone know who owns it or how long its in the country? At 1st, I taught it was Lallys of Galways, but think this little gem is a newcomer. It was such an unusual sight, so nostalgic, she will stand out.
