Its a nice model though, expect plenty of liveries out of it, CMN will get good milage, EFE for nearly 3 yrs promised they were doing the other Scania, the East Lanc one as seen in Cardiff and in London by Metroline.....(owner of Dublin to Galway Citylink, & old Aerdart)......

Redstars- The SO's off the 148 have I believe been replaced with more SP's. The current allocation is 24 SP's- just enough to cover the PVR without spares so VA's off the 49 or 220 allocation turn up.
The SO's have the Optare bodywork -delievered due to Scania not being able to meet the delivery deadline. They have however been beset by problems. Mainly they couldn't meet the tilt test. After much to-ing and fro-ing they came into service with two top deck seats removed and another two turned around, there were also experiments with weights being added to the chassis to re-distribute weight.
These vehicles were only taken on short term lease ( TFL weren't totally happy with them) and indeed there was an advert in last months Buses magazine for their sale
